On Tour: The enigmatic Mesmé makes her way to Asia

Los Angeles-based Mesmé is about to kickstart March with her Asia Tour, where she’ll be gracing venues across the region with her peak-time sets all month long.

Drawing inspiration from crime fiction and neo-noir films, Mesmé's journey from the Midwest to the City of Angels, via Singapore, created a rapid buzz in the LA underground scene.

Mesmé’s ability to build intoxicating vibes in both smoky lounges and sweaty warehouses has earned her accolades and stage time besides names like Ben UFO, Boys Noize, DJ Boring, FJAAK, Four Tet, Lena Willikens, Mall Grab, Nastia, Objekt…Also, not many can boast the fact that they’ve been personally selected by likes of Jamie XX, Ellen Allien and DVS1 for support duties.

Making her production debut in 2020 with a sold-out EP on Steel City Dance Discs, Mesmé has become a trusted and savvy artist with a broad yet distinctively moody range.

As a DJ, her signature sets resound a potent blend of deep atmospheres, experimental textures, raw bass lines, and sultry vocals over thumping drums.

With vinyl-heavy blends encompassing moody electronica, acid, electro, house, techno, and trip-hop, Mesmé's sonic prowess transcends genres.

Her influence extends beyond the LA circuit, securing coveted affiliations, including a residency at Into The Woods and a monthly radio show, Mise-en-scène, on dublab, which reflects her sonic preference for slower rhythms and a diverse range of deep, melancholic, and contemplative electronic music.

Mesmé will also be dropping a special mix for Mixmag Asia Radio soon on our site; it’s definitely one you’ll want to get into.
